When big brother came to meet his new sister for the first time, he snuggled with Mommy in bed while Daddy brought her over. We kept asking him if he wanted to see his new baby sister and he kept playing bashful by burying his head and coyly saying "noooooo"...
When she started "exercising her lungs" for the first time during his visit, he stopped cold and just staaaaared at her with this look on his face...
The next day he was a little more comfortable sharing the same space with the strange little bundle who had invaded his Mommy's lap and we got this family picture together. :o)
So, here she is in all her beautiful glory! She looks a lot like Mommy when she was born. (Finally, a child that looks like ME!)
And how 'bout those lips?...
