Summers Hill is looking snazzier...

Since we've done some logging on our property, we now have this beautiful view of Mt. Rainier from the front of our house. This is what we get to take in from our kitchen, living room, bedroom, and deck.

On a very different note, my step-mom (a.k.a. "Grammie Candy") came over a few weeks ago and we painted baby girl's room. It's hard to tell, but the color is a pale yellow called "Twinkle". Awww, isn't that fitting? (The ugly orangey-stained wood doors and trim will be painted white.)
You can get a tiny bit of a better idea of the pale yellow color in this shot, since it's against the white tray liner...
This poor, worn, amber-handled dresser is getting a makeover baby girls room, too. (This is obviously a "before" picture.)Stay tuned for more "after" pics!
